WISBECH Town were dealt a massive blow last night after inspirational captain Paul Cousins completed his move to fierce rivals King’s Lynn Town.
Fenmen boss Steve Appleby said the board had backed him to the hilt in his effort to keep the 28-year-old centre back at the club. However, Cousins put pen-to-paper on a move last night and becomes the second Wisbech player to join Lynn this week.
Callum Reed’s expected departure from the club was announced on Tuesday but the Fenmen’s fans were left stunned when he snubbed an approach from Blue Square Premier side Cambridge United to join the Linnets.
