FENLAND Tang Soo Do member Ian Stebbings won a bronze medal at the world championships, in Orlando, USA.

He secured a spot in the British team by qualifying at last year's national championships.

He beat off some stiff competition to win a bronze in sparring.

Fenland club instructor Jack Schofield said: "Ian had trained extremely hard and deserves this success and recognition of his achievements."

Fenland tang Soo Do Club hold training sessions at Wisbech St Mary School on Mondays and at Murrow Village Hall on Thursdays.
