Midfielder Steven Reid proved himself to be a superstar between the sticks as 10-man Wisbech Town showed a lot of character to earn a point at Boston.
Chris Bacon put the Fenmen ahead at the DWB Stadium on seven minutes with a header from Matt Sparrow’s cross.
But Wisbech keeper Aaron Butcher was sent off for bringing down a Boston attacker on 36 minutes. Jack Whitewick put the penalty past Reid.
However, the stand-in keeper could not be beaten for the rest of the game - making a series of great saves.
After the game, Wisbech manager Brett Whaley tweeted: “Really proud of the lads tonight. 60 minutes with 10 men and no keeper and came away with a point.”
