Continuing his excellent run of recent form, Martin Jennings raced to 11th place overall in the St Ives 10K, with a time of 36 minutes and 22 seconds.
Joining him on the start line was clubmate Tim Chapman, who clocked 42:30 to finish in 63rd in a field of 590 finishers.
The out-and-back course gave the duo a chance to encourage each other as they passed in opposite directions near the half way point.
Sarah Rippon was also in fine form and enjoyed a dazzling time in Chester at the Delva Divas ladies-only triathlon which consisted of a 750m swim, 25K bike and 5K run.
And the FRC star managed to record new personal best times for all three elements, with 17:52 for the swim, 59:26 for the bike and a 28:25 for the 5K, placing her 152nd out of 271 ladies.
