It has been another busy week for Fenland Running Club.

The club kicked off their week at the Outlaw 10k and Outlaw Half Triathlon, which involved a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike ride and a half marathon run.

In the 10k, Sean Connolly finished in sixth out of 541 runners and third in the FV40 category. Sarah Gauvin also ran well, finishing in third in the FV40 race.

In the triathlon, Stuart Follen, Alan Bird and Rod Sinnott finished in 15th place out of 78 teams.

Sarah Rippon took on the challenge as a single competitor and finished 265th.

Twelve members then tackled the third Peterborough 5K Grand Prix Series.

Martin Jennings produced a 17:12 run to finish in first in the MV45 while Ian Milburn also triumphed in the MV70 category.

The week culminated with Jennings, Shane Draper and Bethan Everson running in the Norwich Lord Mayor’s 5K.

Jennings impressed again, crossing the line in 17:12, whilst Draper and Everson finished in 92nd and 131st respectively.
