Two Fenland Running Club teams took part in a race that takes more than a day to complete.
The Round Norfolk Relays is a 198-mile race, split into 17 unequal stages, which starts and finishes at King’s Lynn.
The FRC male team – made up of (in stage order) Rod Sinnott, Sean Connolly, Daniel Spiller, John Chapman, Graham Milham, Tom Richards, Lewis Saunders, Paul Griffin, Shane Draper, Martin Jennings, Stuart Follen, Andrew Plume, Chris Rose, Nigel Seale, Richard Agger, Ian Milburn and Andre Pittock – finished in a total time of 23 hours and three minutes.
The ladies squad, featuring Sarah Gauvin, Jane Greenwood, Julie Garner, Jay Gilbert, Ann Trett, Denise Griffin, Claudia Milburn, Katie Irlam, Catherine Duce, Ellen Connolly, Elisabeth Sennitt-Clough, Maire Irlam, Nicky Jennings, Michelle Gilbert, Gemma Rose, Carol Slater-Garner and Larissa Follen, completed in 28 hours, 46 minutes and 37 seconds.
The route follows the North Norfolk Coastal path to Cromer, before heading along the coast to Great Yarmouth, then back inland.
