A large contingent of Fenland Running Club members took part in the opening round of the Frostbite Friendly League last Sunday.
Shane Draper was the leading finisher as he took 48th in a field of 516 athletes at Priory Park, in St Neots, with clubmate Martin Jennings one place and one second behind.
Ellen Connolly was the first female finishers as FRC finished 11th out of 16 competing clubs in the senior standings. The leading seven male and three lady runners count towards the team total.
