Chris Garner was the leading Three Counties Running Club performer in the St Neots Half Marathon last Sunday.

Garner completed the 13.1-mile course in a time of 2:08.54 while clubmates Paul Stratford, Adele O’Connor and Sarah-Jane MacDonald all crossed the line in 2:16.35.

MacDonald completed the race as part of her charity challenge to run in 12 half-marathons for Cancer Research.

A large contingent of Three Counties members took part in the second round of the Shouldham Cross-Country Series in Norfolk.

Morgan Harrison finished fourth in the Under 17 age group over 4.5km in 17.37, while Graham Rushmer was the quickest senior runner over 9km in 39.15.
