Wisbech racing driver Terry Roughton qualified in 13th position for both races of the 750 Motor Club’s K-Tec Racing Clio 182 championship at the beautiful coastal circuit of Anglesey at the weekend.
Rain on the Saturday morning qualifying session made the track greasy but Roughton defied the slippery conditions to post a time of 1.22.82 around Anglesey Circuit’s Coastal Configuration. This was just a couple of seconds behind pole sitter Patrick Fletcher.
Roughton got away well into an action packed race one on Saturday and retained his 13th position all the way to the finish line.
The sun eventually made an appearance for race two on Sunday afternoon. Roughton started well again and made it up to 12th place by the end of the race.
Terry currently stands in seventh place in the championship of 31 competitors.
