TEENAGE racer Jake Giddings continued the learning curve in the latest rounds of the Ginetta Junior Championship at Croft.

The 14-year-old from Upwell lined up 18th in race one and gained two positions off the start before having a race-long battle with Adam Bonham.

Giddings made a good move on Bonham into the final hairpin on the lap to move ahead, but on the final lap a small spin saw him drop back to 18th.

He started the second race from 16th and put in consistent lap times to move into the top 12, but a back marker got in his way and he slipped back to 15th.

The Ginetta Juniors continue alongside the British Touring Car Championship, which is next at Snetterton in Norfolk on August 2.
