AWIN this weekend will keep Leverington in the West Norfolk One.

They play a bottom-of-the-table clash with Castle Acre.

Leverington are third bottom with two matches remaining and Castle Acre are second bottom, 16 points behind.

The Creakes, who Leverington play in their final match, are already relegated.

The local side picked up seven points in their 71-run defeat to Sandringham on Saturday.

Leverington lost the toss and had the league's best batting line-up in real trouble at 20-3 with Damien Allen taking two wickets and Aaron Cobb the other.

But they could not press home the advantage and Sandringham's former Norfolk Alliance batsman Green (65) upped the run rate.

Green went with the score at 132-5 in the 31st over.

Some good lower order hitting took Sandringham's score to 201-8 with Allen the pick of the bowlers with (4-31) and well supported by Ian Cooper (2-57), Cobb (1-40) and Mark Godfrey (1-57).

Leverington's batting again let them down when they were in a good position after losing two wickets early Ricky Brown (13) and Andy Goddard (13) took the score to 48 and looked very comfortable and were both playing well until a silly run-out and a wicket next ball meant that they both were back in the pavilion.

Leverington's lower order batsmen again got them up to 120 for an extra point with Jamie Paul (18), Ian Cooper (12), Damien Allen (13) and Aaron Cobb (24) his best score for the club.

Leverington were eventually bowled out for 130.
