WISBECH continued their winning start to the season with victory in a competitive bruising encounter.
Town took the lead midway through the first half after a neatly converted goal from a short corner was tucked in at the back post by Erika Burrell.
Claire Apted doubled the lead after a shot was drilled across goal following slick play on the right.
An impressive point-blank double save kept the visitors at bay but Ipswich pulled a goal back before the break.
Wisbech's third goal was followed by lengthy protests from the visitors, who pulled a goal back five minutes from time.
Jodie Peggs was Wisbech's player of the match.
