Wisbech Inline Speed Skating Club competitors were in impressive form in London at the weekend.
Almost 150 skaters from across Europe were in action at the London Skaters tournament, held at the Lee Valley Velopark within the Olympic Park.
Eight skaters from Wisbech took part in their chosen events – Flynn McGurk, Dylan Taylor, Harrison Tuck, Eve McInerney, Oli Johnson, Jo Tidman, Mike McInerney and Barrie Wiles.
Eve McInerney won the female cadets, winning £50 prize money, Mike McInerney was second in the mens’ seniors, Tidman second in the ladies veterans, Johnson third in the male cadets and Flynn McGurk third in the pupil boys category.
The team travel to Belgium this week where they will be competing in the Flanders Grand Prix European Championships, with 13 year old Eve McInerney representing Great Britain.
