Dick Creasey has resigned as Wisbech Town boss.
Creasey called time on his third stint in the Fenmen hotseat when having his resignation accepted by chairman Paul Brenchley this morning.
The Fenmen have lost four of their opening six United Counties League Premier Division games in what Creasey had already planned to be his final season in the hotseat.
A 3-1 home reverse at the hands of Boston Town on Tuesday night proved to be the final straw for veteran boss, who won league titles at this level with Holbeach and Spalding.
Assistant boss Paul Cousins has been placed in temporary charge for Wisbech’s home clash against Leicester side St Andrews tomorrow along with coaches Glen Maddison and Luke Hipwell.
