Woman collapses in Wisbech park prompting an air ambulance emergency landing

Police thanked the public for standing well clear when a helicopter flew to a "seriously ill" woman who collapsed in Wisbech Park.
The woman in her sixties collapsed and went into cardiac arrest arrest on Wednesday afternoon.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We were called to a woman who collapsed at the park at about 3.20pm. We took her to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital at King’s Lynn by land ambulance. The critical care team also came with us.”
Attending the incident were a first responder, rapid response vehicle, an ambulance, duty officer and the Magpas Air Ambulance
A spokesman for Magpas said they were called to a woman was described as “seriously ill.”
Cambridgeshire Police thanked the public for standing well back allowing the helicopter to safely arrive and leave inside Wisbech park.
