A 72-YEAR-OLD woman was assaulted in Wisbech whilst walking her dog.
The victim was near the woods in Meadowgate Lane with a friend at about 5pm on Sunday when her dog ran off and returned with another dog.
A man approached the woman, claiming her dog had attacked his, and pushed her from behind. She fell to the ground and suffered minor injuries.
The attacker has been described as being in his 50s, 5ft 4in and with white hair.
PC Miriam Penegar said: “The victim suffered minor injuries but is shaken up and I would appeal to anyone with information to contact us.”
