Witnesses to a fire in Wisbech St Mary are being urged to contact police.

It is believed the blaze which involved a caravan, which was half in a ditch in a field off Sandbank, was started deliberately.

Two fire crews from Wisbech were called to the incident, which happened late last night (Tuesday). Hose reels were used to tackle the flames and crews returned home to the station at 11.30pm.
