TWO work colleagues from Wisbech have raised 850 for a children’s cancer charity by braving a 13,000ft parachute jump.
Shane Vickers and Nina Weller took the hair-raising plunge for CLIC Sargent, a charity caring for children and young people with cancer.
The fundraising pair, who both work as sales managers at United Brick & Tile Ltd, in King’s Lynn, thanked all the customers and friends who sponsored them.
Shane, who also plays for Wisbech Rugby Club, said: “We decided to do the jump after a lot of banter and pressure from customers.
“We are already looking forward to carrying out another charity challenge for 2012. Any suggestions would be welcome by e-mail to info@brick-tile.co.uk”
