SOME of Cambridgeshire's top support agencies for businesses have combined for a special breakfast and networking event.
It takes place on April 2 at the Boathouse Business Centre and admission- and the breakfast - is completely free.
Steve Clarke, partnership director for Business Link, believes it will provide an excellent platform for businesses to work through issues in the current economic climate.
He said businesses should be attracted to, rather than put off, by the emphasis placed at the breakfast meeting on regulation.
"The main focus is to engage regulators- and that's not so scary," he said. "HM Customs and Revenue, for example, will be there and they have a raft of stuff to help people in the current climate. People need all the help they can get and that's an important message."
He said there would be short presentations by organisations as diverse as local councils and Business Link right through to trading standards and environmental health and chambers of commerce.
"There will also be the opportunity to ask questions- vital to any business who needs to know what support is available," he said.
People are free to turn up for the breakfast, and leave after the presentations, or stay and chat with exhibitors.
Registration is from 8am,, the event starts at 8.30am and should conclude by 10am.
"Our target audience is small business," he said. "That could be a one man band or someone employing up to 250. We have the help and support available on the day."
You can all 0845 601 1000 to book a place (Business Link Events line) or via the web on www.bookevents.org.
