Some well-known Fenland footballing faces will return to Wisbech for a special appearance at Wisbech Town’s Legends night.
Fenmen legends Jackie Gallagher, Roy McManus, Ian Benjamin and Keith Rudd will all make the trip to the Elgoods Fenland Stadium for the special event hosted by current boss, Dick Creasey, this Friday (March 10).
Chairman of the Wisbech Town Supporters’ Club, Richard Meek, said: “We initially worried that no-one would attend - we’re now wondering where on earth to put them all!
“The title winning Soham side seem to be treating it as a reunion, and local stalwarts like Chris Dear and the Jimsons have said they’ll attend.”
The night will also see the return of 10 former Wisbech managers, as well as an appearance from some of the club’s current stars.
Entry is free, and the night begins at 7pm.
