Maureen Strudwick, Acting Headteacher was pleased with the improvement and said: "What has really been important to the improvement in our results is the hard work of the students, staff and families - good results are only achievable when everyone works as a team.

"We have improved on the results last year and it is a good sign that Thomas Clarkson is making progress. We now aim to build on this foundation and to make further improvement with the continued support of students, staff, families and the community.
