FOR such a modest theatre the Angles has managed to produce a gigantic pantomime which is a delight to watch.

They have brought a new twist to the classic pantomime tale of Beauty and the Beast thanks to the outstanding performance of the RATz team.

It has all the necessary essentials to make it a classic panto - a dastardly villain, a beautiful heroine, a rather loopy joker and of course the panto dame.

For a relatively young cast this is a promising and polished performance.

And it appears a new star has been born with the confident and cheeky performance by Matthew Beare as Loopy Louis.

He is surrounded by a talented cast who each bring the story to life in a beautiful performance.

Laura-Jayne Shippey is delightful as beauty, and Fat Franc performed by Karl Brittin and Dame Dora (Emlyn Moment) bring hysterics to the stage.

Overall this is a wonderful performance and a must see, it such a fantastic show, you really need to go and support our local theatre, who in turn, will reward you with a night to remember.

The pantomime kicked off on Tuesday at the Wisbech theatre and will run until Wednesday December 31. Performances times vary, but to find out more call the box office on 01945 47 4447.

Tickets are £10 but there are group discounts and family tickets.
