College of West Anglia students – past, current and future – erect fence made for Wisbech in Bloom
Students – past, present and future – at the College of West Anglia (CWA) have erected a metal fence made at the Wisbech campus for Wisbech in Bloom.
Anglian Water’s Alliances supported the students on the construction course to erect the fence panels for Wisbech in Bloom.
James March, foreman for Anglian Water Alliance said: “As a company we enjoy giving back and helping the community we operate in. The CWA students and apprentices did an amazing job.”
James Back, skills tutor from CWA said: “The Anglian Water sponsored courses offer an amazing opportunity for students to get unprecedented levels of real life experience of the work place alongside getting their qualifications.”
The metal fences were manufactured by the current students at the town’s campus and the team included the current level 2 construction students.
It also included previous students who are now employed as apprentices within the Anglian Water Alliance companies and potential students who have applied to start the construction course in September.
They all worked together to ensure the fence panels are installed safely outside the Wisbech Rugby Club.
