The Horsefair Shopping Centre at Wisbech is teaming up with a charity college to help fund raise for the students for the next six months.

The centre will support FACET in March where adult students with disabilities attend from across the Fens.

Dave King, centre manager at the Horsefair, said: “When I read the letter from FACET I was immediately impressed by the work that they do.

“They are a real community organisation, who give back to local area in many ways – which is something that we at The Horsefair are also proud of doing.

“In the past, the centre and its shoppers have raised substantial amounts of money for charity, and I am excited about working with FACET in the next six months in order to do the same for them, raising their profile, whilst raising vital funds.”

The partnership begins in August.

The Horsefair Shopping centre will work hand in hand with FACET to arrange events and help raise funds for their cause.

Based in Marwick Road, FACET is dedicated to helping adults with learning and other disabilities to achieve their full potential in life, providing opportunities for them to train and gain qualifications to achieve employment or work towards living independently.

The charity also provides lots of sporting activities, as well as weekly music and movement and healthy living groups.
