Wisbech Sea Cadets are remembering soldiers who died in the First Wolrd War as part of 100th anniversary commemorations of the end of the fighting.
The cadets wrote names on 281 poppies copied from Wisbech war memorial and mounted them to make a wreath which will be laid at the Remembrance Parade in Wisbech on November 11.
The two winning designs for the centres were drawn by cadet L Malakauskas and junior cadet K Blackford-Frost.
Margaret Wilson, chief petty officer for Wisbech Sea Cadets, said: “We ran it as a competition for around 40 cadets, who all did a superb job designing.
“Their efforts are excellent. The 100th anniversary of the end of WW1 is such an important date and they have done the cadets proud with thier designs.”
