More than 100 families in need received a boost from the Wisbech Salvation Army over the Christmas period.
Their food and toy appeal enabled them to help 106 families which included 159 adults and 257 children.
Alison Day, territorial envoy, said: “We would like to thank everyone who helped us to supply Christmas food and toys to local families in need.
“Without the food, toys, money and time given by so many individuals and local organisations, this would not have been achieved.
“Whilst we are saddened that the need is so great, we are also gladdened by the care and community spirit shown here in Wisbech.”
