WISBECH’S Salvation Army fun day had an Olympic theme as the Games got underway in London.
Kids created their own Olympic flames and made their own Team GB flags at the event on Saturday (July 21).
Other activities included face-painting, lucky dips, an under-fives playzone and the chance to enjoy tea and a slice of cake.
There were also bric a brac stall and softball games, along with pool and Nintendo Wii games in the Salvation Army’s youth centre.
“There was a very nice atmosphere ahead of the Olympics and everyone was having fun,” community youth worker Clare Kinsey said.
