Wisbech Rotary Club donated £500 to the Wisbech & District Stroke Club whilst the group watched a film as part of the Light Cinema’s Silver Monday series.
Peter Fewster, club secretary, said: “Stroke club members have enjoyed the opportunity to visit the cinema with complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits on a regular monthly basis since the over 60s Silver Monday Cinema event was introduced by the Rotary Club.
“Some stroke club members have few or no chances to get out and socialise and the rotary club are providing an ideal opportunity not just for the stroke club members but many more local over 60’s.
