POSTAL workers across Fenland were given the day off today because of snow - but for one Wisbech postie it meant the chance to build someone to cover his shift.

James Norris, 34, built this snow-post-man with his sons Charlie, six, and Lloyd, four, both of whom were also given the day off school.

James' wife Charlotte said: "He's never been sent home from work before because of snow, and the children have never seen snow like this so they went outside for a couple of hours and had lots of fun."
