WISBECH: Police launch appeal after man assaulted in Weasenham Lane

POLICE are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Weasenham Lane on Monday (December 29) at around 1.30pm.

A 20-year-old man was in a blue Vauxhall Corsa was in stationary traffic when a silver Fiesta pulled up behind him.

Two offenders got out of the Fiesta and attacked the driver of the Corsa. They also caused damage to his car. They then got back into the Fiesta and drove away.

PC Claire Forrester, investigating, said: "We would like to hear from anyone who saw this assault take place or anyone who remembers seeing a silver Fiesta in the area around this time."
