POLICE are investigating an assault on a woman by two men as she walked along a road in Wisbech.
The attack happened in Townshend Road at about 11pm on Friday, May 1.
The 41-year-old woman was walking home when she was approached from behind by two men who pushed her to the ground. They dragged her along the ground, but she managed to break free and the men fled in the direction of Wisbech Park.
It is believed the men may have been disturbed by someone getting into or out of a vehicle nearby.
