WISBECH: Police give details of teenager who was attacked and had cycle stolen

A TEENAGER was attacked and had his bicycle stolen by a group of youths.

The 18-year-old victim was riding his girlfriend s bike along Norwich Road, Wisbech, at about 6.15pm on Friday (January 9) when he approached three men and a woman near the junction

A TEENAGER was attacked and had his bicycle stolen by a group of youths.

The 18-year-old victim was riding his girlfriend's bike along Norwich Road, Wisbech, at about 6.15pm on Friday (January 9) when he approached three men and a woman near the junction with Clarkson Avenue.

One of the men attempted to punch him and missed, but another connected with a punch to his cheek and knocked him from the bike. The attackers then picked up the bike and made off along Clarkson Avenue.

The victim received slight injuries and was shaken by the attack.

The male attackers were described as white, 19 to 21, and wore dark clothing and hooded tops. The woman was white, about 19, with brown hair and also wore dark clothes and a hooded top.
