AN 88 year-old woman walking through the centre of Wisbech has had her hand bag stolen from her walking frame.
Police disclosed today that the theft happened between 1.30pm and 3.10pm last Friday and have issued an appeal for information.
CCTV is being examined to see if it can throw up clues as to the identity of the thief.
A police spokesman said the victim visited Stead and Simpsons, The Heart Foundation, Sue Ryder and Westgate House before she noticed the hand bag was missing.
The brown leather bag contained keys and a purse containing cards and cash.
