THE Mayor Wisbech performed the opening ceremony at a new takeaway restaurant business in the town this week.

Best Kebab, Barbecue and Pizza House in Nene Quay opened its doors for business on Monday, and is due to start making deliveries on Wednesday.

Manager Bulent Karaoglan runs the company with the help of other family members, including his father, a chef with 20 years experience.

"Our specialities include home made naan bread made to a family recipe, and Turkish pizza called lahmacun," he said.

The shop is open every day from 11am.
