POLICE are appealing for witnesses after three men attacked a man in Wisbech Park on Friday.
The victim, a 35-year-old man, was walking through the park at about 10.30pm when he was approached by the men who asked him for a cigarette.
They then pushed him to the floor and assaulted him, causing minor injuries. They took the man's bag but dropped it as they were running away.
The men are described as white and between the ages of 17 and 20.

Pc Michelle Bax, investigating, said: "This attempted robbery took place at what would have been a fairly busy time of night and we would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the incident or the three men running away from the park."
