The Wisbech Conservative Club at Hill Street raised £277 from holding a coffee morning in October and along with serving coffee and cake, various small competitions were held.

Over a 12 week period, Worzal’s Restaurant raised a further £1,316. They offered the chance of winning a Sunday lunch for two with desserts for just a £1 donation, with the money going to the Wisbech Fundraising Group of Macmillan Cancer Support.

The name was drawn recently and the lucky winner was Mrs. Rand of Wisbech.

This type of event was also held in March and June of this year again at Worzals, binging 2015’s fundraising total up to £3,793.
