A newsreader for Wisbech station KLFM has been nominated for one of the top awards in radio news.
Emily Bull is one of the finalists for Newsreader of the Year in the IRN Awards, which are run by Sky and feature both national and local stations.
The newsreader, who has worked in radio for almost 10 years, said: “Most stations will enter so to get a nomination is a huge honour. I am completely thrilled about this as getting an IRN Award has been a huge ambition of mine since my university days.
“It’s always good to get feedback, and people in West Norfolk and Wisbech are always so lovely whether it’s about our coverage of the floods, or my fashion advice in the weather. This is just the icing on the cake.”
Winners will be announced on March 19 at the Century Club in London.
