The Horsefair Shopping Centre in Wisbech is celebrating after being recognised at the Sceptre awards.
The introduction of a laundrette system earned the centre the award of ‘highly commended’ in the commercialisation innovation of the year category. The award was presented at a ceremony held at The Dorchester in London last month.
Kevin Smith, centre manager of the Horsefair, said: “I’m extremely pleased that the Horsefair has been recognised on a national level for this achievement.
“We topped some of the largest shopping centres in the UK to be awarded a prize; it was like receiving an Oscar.”
