Wisbech Grammar School pupils showed their flair at a fashion show with a difference - the outfits on display were made out of rubbish.
At an annual house event based on recycling and the environment, pupils converted old newspapers, crisp packets and bin liners into stylish outfits.
Continuing the theme, pupils made music with recycled materials and assembled an artwork jigsaw using geometric shapes.
At the end of the day, pupils strutted their stuff on a catwalk to the beat of music they had composed and performed, with giant murals providing a backdrop.
The contest between the school’s four houses finished with a win for members of Peckover under the leadership of Samantha Goodier.
Head of houses Tim Chapman said: “The event generated a buzz in the school and a huge amount of excitement during the finale. Everyone enjoyed the day as well as learning something new.”
