CARD-MAKING, health and beauty and energy saving advice were all on the agenda when the Oasis Community Centre in Wisbech hosted a coffee morning this week.

About 45 people attended the event on Tuesday.

Mary Cook, from the company Essential Beauty, told people about the healing properties of Aloe Vera beauty products, card-making expert Ali Newman gave a demonstration and people learned how to make Christmas cards and Mark Corcoran, from the Energy Saving Trust, gave a talk about how people can save energy in the home.

Oasis Community Centre manager Chris Stevens said: "I was pleased with the turn-out and everything went really well, so I hope to organise several similar events in the future.
