Two Girlguiding leaders have been presented with bronze Voyage Awards.
Tracey Baxter and Susan Southwell from Wisbech Trefoil Guild were presented with the awards during a boat trip down the river Vitava, whilst on a Trefoil Guild holiday to Prague.
To gain the award, Tracey volunteered as treasurer for a Rainbow and Brownie unit, joined a yoga class, fundraised for the British Heart Foundation, learnt to crochet and made a pram blanket as well as visited New Zealand.
Susan used her role as an assistant Brownie leader, took up swimming, was part of a team that organised international residential experiences for Brownies, produced cross stitch and enabled Brownies to travel to France and Belgium for a Euro Hop adventure.
During the four-day tour the group visited the city’s most famous sights including Prague Castle, St Vitus’s Cathedral, the Charles Bridge, the Old Town and the Astronomical Clock.
