Wisbech firefighters spread Christmas cheer by visiting 92-year-old Pearl

A 92-year-old Wisbech woman got a festive visit from two Cambridgeshire firefighters at the weekend.

Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue members Kev Gilbert and Gary Reach went to Pearl Youngman’s house to spread some Christmas cheer.

Fire crews first met Pearl after a fire in her garden earlier this year and returned a few days later to deliver her a birthday card.

Firefighters popped back on Sunday to deliver her a Christmas card with a stay well winter health pack.
