A bit of snow didn’t stop the annual Wisbech Christmas Market after it went ahead on Sunday.
Hundreds of people came down to take part in some festive retail therapy, with a large variety of stalls there was something for everyone.
One stallholder said: “We had a great day at the market today – despite the weather it was a great turn out and I sold almost everything.”
Another said: “Thank you to everyone who braved the elements to visit the St Augustine’s sewing group stall yesterday at the market – we had a very successful day. “We raised lots for the church thank you.”
Not everyone was a fan of the weather but some said it ‘added to the Christmas theme’ but some stall holders cried off because of the icy conditions. A resident said: “Shame about the weather, but well done to all the stall holders that managed to get to Wisbech for our Christmas market, well supported by the town residents as usual, feeling proud of my town”.
