STUDENTS at the College of West Anglia enjoyed excellent A Level results today. The college achieved an overall pass rate of 96.5%.

Publication of the A/AS levels results for the summer 2008, showed a big increase in the overall number of A to C grades. Almost a 3rd of all grades achieved by our students were A or B.

Head of Faculty for Humanities and Science, Richard Bradley, said: "We are proud of our student's achievements. This reflects in the hard work and commitment of our students and the high quality of teaching and learning in our College. I would like to congratulate all our students and staff on their success.

"We are pleased with the 16 subjects achieving 100% pass rate and particularly pleased that even more of our A Level students achieved higher A to C grades, compared to last year, as this means more students will be accepted into their first choice of college or university as well as having better job opportunities".

Just one of the success stories is Megan Drew, she achieved A in Maths and Human Biology and a B grade in Psychology and Chemistry, Megan is planning to go to the UEA in Norwich to study Pharmacy.
