WISBECH estate agents Maxey and Son have closed their office in Kings Lynn but say it will be business as usual for the family firm.
Partner John Maxey said the company had kept an office in Lynn for eight years but the current economic climate had made it impractical to continue to keep it open.
However he says many of the customers from the Lynn area continue to use the firm and it has made little difference to their volume of sales.
"In the past three weeks we have noticed a definite improvement," he said.

However with the lease coming to an end in Kings Lynn, the company decided to consolidate their office at Wisbech.
