The MP for North East Cambridgeshire has decided enough is enough and has stepped in to help a Wisbech pizza shop replace a broken window.
The window of Domino’s, at 12 Lynn Road, has been boarded up for the majority of the year, but Steve Barclay has flexed his parliamentary power to ensure it gets a replacement after months of frustration.
He took to his website to share the news, saying: “For what feels like many months I have been driving past Domino’s with its boarded-up window and wondering why it hasn’t been fixed.
“I am sure I am not the only one to have been frustrated by this. So I have been in touch with Domino’s to make the point that this needs fixing and work is well overdue.
“I am pleased to say that they have confirmed that it will be sorted in the next six weeks so hopefully you will see an improvement very soon.”
