A 15-year-old boy was shot at with an air gun in Wisbech on Monday (August 4).
The boy was walking along Stow Road at the junction with Trinity Road at 6pm when a red old style Vauxhall Corsa pulled up next to him.
There were at least three people in the car.
He felt something hit the top of his leg and saw a gun being pulled back into the car through the passenger window. The boy was not injured in the attack.
PC Michelle Bax, investigating, said: "We would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and remembers seeing the red Corsa and its occupants.
"We would also like to hear from anyone who knows the people who were inside the car."
