TWO people with learning disabilities who have been on work experience at B&Q in Wisbech have been presented with awards for their efforts at the store.

Staff at the Elm High Road store presented Dean Smith and Jonathan Spencer with their award to acknowledge their achievements while on the placement.

The pair have been helping at the store for the last 12 weeks and received their prizes at the daily staff meeting last Wednesday.

They were found the placement through 'Workability', a Cambridgeshire County Council scheme based at The Community Centre in March.

It places disabled adults with work experience or a job with Fenland businesses.
