An aspiring actress from Wisbech has been inspired by the generosity of the people who are supporting her career to give back to the community.
Thanks to the support of Cambs Times and Wisbech Standard readers, who helped with her costs, she has spent the past year learning from some of the most respected tutors in the industry at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts at the Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts.
Since graduating, she has gained a place on a program with a top talent agency in London. She is playing the lead role in feature film ‘The Auction’, which will be submitted to film festivals across the country next year.
In addition, she is running her own acting classes with Nine Lives Theatre Company at The Institute in Wisbech.
She said: “I wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who was kind enough to sponsor me.
“I am truly grateful as it helped so much with my costs, and I never would have been able to do it without their help. “They have given me something truly remarkable with their help, and I hope to do them proud in my future career, and also by teaching others in the community what I have learnt.”
Annie’s acting classes, for people aged eight and above, are on Mondays from 4pm-6.45pm and Saturdays from 10am- 1pm.
She is also running fitness sessions and private acting sessions.
If anyone is interested in any of her classes, contact her via the Nine Lives Website at www.ninelivestheatrecompany.co.uk or the Facebook page; https://www.facebook.com/ninelivestheatrecompany
