MORE than 70 members of the Cambridgeshire Regiment Association and their guests enjoyed a sausage and mash supper at the newly-refurbished Childer's Club in Whittlesey.
Organised by the association's Whittlesey and Peterborough branch, members from across the county enjoyed a menu of sausage, mash and peas followed by apple pie and custard.
The Mayor of Whittlesey, Councillor Derek Stebbing, also attended with several members of the Cambridgeshire Regiment who saw service in the Second World War.
A draw for branch funds also took place during the evening and raised 200.
